5. International Physical Theatre Festival Essen
The International Physical Theater Festival FULL SPIN will take place for the fifth time from June 28th to July 6th at the Maschinenhaus Essen, the New Auditorium of the Folkwang University of the Arts and the Grillo Theater. A total of 17 productions will be on display, varying greatly in their themes and forms of expression, from internationally known and acclaimed artists to extremely exciting works by smaller international companies to productions by resident Physical Theater artists and students.
Whether acrobatic, clownesk, dance or performative - these are the stories that are firmly engrained in our bodies, which in the invited productions have their own sensual quality, great humor, impressive visual power, impressive physicality and the universal Language of the body search their forms of expression.
